What's been your most rewarding project(s) while at your firm?
Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City must be the most rewarding project. The challenge to be trusted with such an iconic and high-profile project in a very early stage of your career was a major part of the thrill and the reward. Working with an amazing team, whether it’s the client representative, the architects or structural engineers of the design team was an interesting and exciting experience. The most rewarding part though, is to go to the field, on a summer afternoon with your friends, and see the joy and happiness of the fans in the stadium, enjoying the amenities and new features that you were part in their design. Every time I attend a game there it’s a reminder of why I love this profession.
What inspires you about your profession?
The sense of accomplishment, contributing in a very visual and actual way to my community, and the betterment of my society as a whole.
